ecently a friend asked me to photograph his 2007 Supercharged Audi RS4 for him. I didn't expect to but got the chance to drive it for about 15 miles. Plainly put it is a lean mean pavement eating grocery getter, but before I go into the driving experience let me give you some details on the car. Base engine size: 4.2 L Cylinders: V8 Torque: 317 ft-lbs. @ 6000 rpm Horsepower: 420 hp @ 7500 rpm Drive type: all wheel drive Mechanical center differential Transmission: 6-speed manual Center limited slip differential he above horse power specs are stock. This however is NOT a stock RS4. This beast is equipped with a Magnuson MP90 twin screw supercharger, custom tuned ECU's and MAGNAFLOW exhaust. More+I was hired by a company to produce a time lapse video of one of their projects. I spent 2 weeks in Ohio photographing the process. It was very interesting and challenging to get all the angles and action in the photos. The completed project can be viewed in the attached video.
More+So again I am playing with the intervalometer and the camera. Trying out settings and playing with video compression. This is just a quick video of the sun setting from the back deck. I wanted to get the transition to stars in the video but some settings didn't work and my battery died shortly after sunset. I will correct these issues and hopefully soon have another video for you.
More+An intervalometer is used to capture time lapse photography with still cameras. I recently received mine after 3 weeks of shipping and receiving faulty cheap versions. The intervalometer ( shutter release timer) is fairly easy to use and I had to try it out right away. Luckily I had a fun little subject matter for about an hour. The subject matter was Lisa and I assembling our new CharBroil grill. The video is attached. Stay tuned and don't forget to share/sign up for my blog.
